Taste of El Cuyo Origins
Taste of El Cuyo is under the umbrella of Taste of Isla, the website where it all began based in Isla Mujeres, where the founders live. It started with Foodies who wanted to help the street vendors and show where to eat the best tacos and secret spots for delicious food, providing small, local businesses who did not have any form of advertising or getting themselves out there with free marketing and exposure. This idea soon exploded into a full restaurant website with a delivery service and a table reservation platform in Isla Mujeres. Tours and Services were added, as well as Accommodations, Beach Clubs, and more. It has grown into a full-service website, including everything that is Isla Mujeres. With an ongoing project on Isla Mujeres and a full team of 11 employees, we wanted to expand to different areas in the Yucatan Peninsula, and El Cuyo stole our hearts. After several visits to El Cuyo, we decided we have enough information to showcase what El Cuyo is about and our big 24/7 team is available currently to take care of any bookings, visitor queries, and connections with vendors until we have our team living in El Cuyo taking care of the site.
